Elevation

As we elevate and worship God, we are elevated in the process.  During this time every Wednesday from 6:15-7:30pm, middle school and high school students experience an amazing time of group activities, worship with the BYM Band, and a relevant message from God’s Word.

Student Life Groups

Beginning September 12, on Sunday nights from 5:30-7pm, middle school and high school students get together in gender-based groups to study God’s Word and how it applies to life, talk with each other, pray for one another, and encourage one another.

Sunday Morning Bible Study

Each Sunday morning, from 9-10:15 a.m., BYM students get together to explore God’s Word together.  Currently, BYM Sunday Morning Bible Study is meeting in room 120, adjacent to the sanctuary.

SLAMtheSLAB

Periodically throughout the school year (including the first and last Elevation of the school year), the BYM sponsors SLAMtheSLAB.  This is an intentional night where middle school and high school students invite their friends to fill the SLAB (Student Life Activities Building) for a time of excitement, FREE pizza, worship with the BYM Band, games, giveaways, surprises, and a relevant message from God’s Word.  You won’t want to miss this night!!!

Project516

BYM student involvement in Project516 has included visiting the local nursing home to share the love of Jesus as well as passing out free bottled water at various spots in the community.  Projects such as these, and more, are continually organized and can be found below on the BYM Calendar.  The calendar is constantly updated, so keep checking for the newest Project516 student opportunities.

PowerPlant Summer Missions

Since 2007, the BYM has participated in missions experiences with PowerPlant, a missions organization of the North American Mission Board that seeks to “engage students in church planting and evangelism.”  Since 2009, PowerPlant has facilitated the BYM in developing a continuing partnership with Matthew’s Table in Lebanon, TN (just outside of Nashville) in reaching their community for Christ.  The BYM plans to continue this partnership in the summers to come.

Fellowship and Summer Activities

The Beulah Youth Ministry also plans special times to hang out together. These include parties, seasonal events, concerts and more.  During the summer, along with serving at Vacation Bible School, BYM students may participate in the BYM Lock-In with the traditional SLABball Tournament, Sunday Night Live (recreation and Bible study at host homes), The Big Youth Thing at Carowinds, the BYM Camping Trip, Project516 opportunities, Game Nights, and more.  The summer schedule changes from the regular schedule during the school year, so make sure you keep updated with the BYM Calendar below.
